Sophie, wearing her mask, displayed a benevolent smile before mercilessly bringing down the handle of her Oil-paper Umbrella.
Thwack!
Sophie first precisely struck Buck on the back of his head with the umbrella handle.

“Missed? No matter, if the probability isn’t enough, attack speed will make up for it.” Sophie mumbled, her Oil-paper Umbrella a blur of motion in her hand.
Thwack! Thwack! Thwack!
“Ow, ow, ow! Stop! What are you doing?!” Buck tried to resist, but Sophie’s slender leg held him firmly underfoot, leaving him to only grimace from the blows.

“This is a special event—get 100 free draws upon login!” Sophie declared solemnly.
Gru roared at the sight, swinging his massive fists in an attempt to resist, but Sophie deftly dodged him, striking his backside and shoulder twice with her umbrella handle.
Thwack! Thwack!

“Darn, is this the low 20% trigger rate?” Sophie sighed, annoyed, then her eyes sharpened. “It seems the intensity of our friendly communication isn’t quite enough.”
What followed was a flurry of dull thuds, like raindrops, outside the small wooden cabin’s threshold.
Buck and Gru rolled around on the ground from the beating, but Sophie stomped on each of their chests, one after the other. They shrieked repeatedly, unable to comprehend how this ordinary girl possessed such terrifying Strength and speed.
Thwack! Thwack! Thwack! Thwack!
Finally, amidst the continuous thudding, Sophie delivered a “Twin Dragons Emerging from the Sea” attack. The moment both umbrella handles struck Buck and Gru’s foreheads simultaneously, the system’s notification sounded like a lifeline—

In that instant, Buck and Gru’s eyes suddenly became vacant.
The breathtaking, captivating visage of the silver-haired heavenly maiden they had just seen was forcefully erased from their minds by an invisible hand.
In their memories, Sophie had always been just an extremely ordinary young girl without a mask.
Not only that, a new, utterly absurd, yet perfectly seamless memory instantly took root and sprouted in the depths of their souls.
In this memory, they were never free-roaming wilderness bandits, but rather the lowest and most humble slaves under the New Moon Sect. Because they had committed grave sins, extremely terrifying fatal death curses had been implanted in their bodies. Every so often, if they didn't take the antidote on time, their entire bodies would rot and turn into blood.
“W-wait...”
Buck suddenly shivered, his earlier head-clutching wails instantly freezing. With a face full of horror, he raised a hand to his neck, then frantically tore open his collar to check. “My neck... my death curse! Right, I remember now, we’re slaves! We have death curses on us!”
“I remember too!” Gru’s massive body trembled violently. He fumbled to rip open his clothes, staring at an old scar on his chest, his face pale. “This is the mark of the death curse! If we ever betray the great New Moon Sect, our entire bodies will turn into pus!”
The two exchanged glances, seeing despair and fear reflected in each other’s eyes.
“Oh dear, I truly went to great lengths to restore your memories.” Sophie sighed.
“Milady! Lady Sophie! We were wrong!”
Buck, utterly spineless, plopped to his knees, his kneecaps slamming hard against the crushed stones. “We were confused for a moment, led astray by some dirty influence! Please grant us the antidote, we’re willing to pull carts! We’re natural cart-pullers!”
“Right, right, right! I, Gru, am strong; I can pull two carts by myself!” Gru also knelt down, like a golden mountain toppling a jade pillar, banging his head repeatedly. “Please, Milady, spare our lives! We’ll never dare again! By the New Moon Sect above, we live as the Sect’s oxen and die as the Sect’s horses!”
“Mm-hmm.” Sophie nodded at them contentedly, then looked at Miaoyue, who had been observing from the sidelines, and called out, “Teacher~ I’m done.”
Miaoyue, floating in mid-air, slowly descended a little, the moonlight separating her from the blood-stained, muddy ground.
She frowned slightly, looking with a hint of distaste at the severed limbs and flowing gore around her.
