Guo Jing stood to the side, looking at Huang Rong with a touch of helplessness.
“Rong'er...”
Huang Rong tilted her head at once, looking entirely innocent.
“I just saw that the senior has a poor memory and kindly tried to help him remember.”
This method of remembering was somewhat exhausting for others.
Ke Zhen'e brought his fine steel staff slamming down hard against the main road, sending bluestone chips flying half a foot high.
“Jing'er! Why waste another word on this Old Venom!”
“It's his own business if he's gone mad and forgotten!”
“Just because he doesn't remember doesn't mean he didn't do it!”
“No matter what, we must send him to the Underworld today! Hurry up and act!”
A master's command was as heavy as a mountain.
Guo Jing's expression darkened. He stomped his feet violently against the ground, unleashing both palms in a staggered strike!
As the palm wind arose, the withered leaves on the ground were swept away in an instant.
Energy swept across the air, sending low, muffled rumbles rolling along the dirt road.
Ouyang Feng was still muttering to himself:
“Ouyang Rice...”
“Ouyang Dish...”
“Ouyang Steamed Bun...”
Suddenly he raised his head, the confusion on his face vanishing in an instant.
With danger looming, decades of muscle memory awakened first.
Ouyang Feng immediately dropped onto all fours, his strange croaking echoing through the surroundings.
The Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms slammed directly against the Toad Stance!
Two immensely overbearing palm energies slammed together in midair.
Soil and stone blasted outward, while wood splinters rained down all around like hail.
Da Wu and Xiao Wu huddled together, shrinking back behind the group with eyes wide as walnuts.
When had they ever witnessed a spectacle like this?
Shattering rocks with a wave of their hands, leveling the ground with a stomp of their feet—the two of them had smashed the hard, level main road into a deep ditch.
Xiao Wu swallowed hard and stammered, “B-Brother... is this a battle between immortals?”
Da Wu's face was flushed red with excitement.
“That's right, Master is our god!”
“Xiao Wu, we've really latched onto a major powerhouse this time.”
They finally realized just what kind of extraordinary figure this young master they had taken on a few days ago truly was.
Wu Sanniang used to teach them martial arts.
She would demonstrate by splitting wood with a palm strike or snapping wooden posts with a kick.
In the two brothers' eyes, that had already been impressive.
Yet compared to what was happening before them, it was like two entirely different worlds.
A casual palm strike from Guo Jing could tear up the earth.
A single stomp from Ouyang Feng left two deep craters in the ground.
Whenever their palms met, a gale swept through the surroundings.
In the blink of an eye, Guo Jing and Ouyang Feng had already exchanged over thirty moves.
Guo Jing's Dragon-Subduing Palms had long since undergone a complete transformation.
Tempered by over a decade of the Nine Yin Manual, its supreme rigidity now harbored supreme softness.
Every palm strike pushed out could be unleashed or retracted at will; before the initial force had dissipated, the subsequent force had already surged forth like endless waves.
Yet Ouyang Feng's style was absurdly bizarre.
Standing to the side, Huang Rong watched with growing intensity.
Ouyang Feng's martial arts were even more troublesome than she had anticipated.
It was not merely strong; it was eccentric.
Ever since he went mad, even his habits of making moves had changed.
When normal experts parried and countered, there was always some trace to follow.
One could usually guess to some extent where the next move would strike.
But Ouyang Feng was different. Just when you thought he was going to attack from the left, he might suddenly flip upside down and strike.
Just when you thought he was going to launch a palm, he might thrust forward with his head halfway through.
One moment it was Toad Stance.
The next moment, it was mixed with the bizarre techniques he had devised himself after reverse-cultivating the Nine Yin Manual.
A madman was not terrifying in himself; what was terrifying was a wildly powerful madman who played completely out of left field.
Guo Jing was only able to hold his ground against him thanks to his solid martial arts foundation.
Anyone else would have been thrown into complete confusion by such bizarre moves long ago.
Huang Rong watched for a moment, her brows gradually furrowing.
Guo Jing was not afraid of a head-on clash, but dragging things out like this was ultimately no solution.
Huang Rong turned to Ke Zhen'e and said:
“First Master.”
“Please keep an eye on the three children.”
Ke Zhen'e's brows furrowed.
“What are you going to do?”
Huang Rong had already gripped the Dog-Beating Staff in her hand.
“I'm going to help Brother Jing!”
Ke Zhen'e was about to speak.
With a flick of her wrist, Huang Rong gripped the translucent, jade-green Dog-Beating Staff tightly. Her figure darted low along the ground, cutting straight into the flank of the battle.
Huang Rong knew very well.
In terms of martial arts skill, she was far from a match for Ouyang Feng.
So she did not clash with him directly at all.
With Guo Jing facing him head-on, steady as a mountain,
Huang Rong transformed into an assassin circling the flank.
The Dog-Beating Staff Technique was tricky and nimble, specifically targeting Ouyang Feng's vulnerable spots such as his neck, shoulders, Huantiao point, and armpits.
Ouyang Feng had just inhaled deeply, his belly swelling up as he prepared to unleash a full-power palm strike.
Pah!
Holding the Dog-Beating Staff, Huang Rong struck out of nowhere right on a major acupoint on his shoulder.
A breath of true qi caught in Ouyang Feng's throat right then and there, choking him so badly his eyes rolled back.
Uttering a strange shout, Ouyang Feng swung his hand back to slap Huang Rong.
Yet Guo Jing's mountain-heavy Dragon-Subduing Palm force was already crashing toward him head-on, forcing him to draw back his palm to defend.
The moment he blocked Guo Jing's heavy palm,
Huang Rong's Dog-Beating Staff looped around to his lower back, landing another sharp, solid crack on him.
The husband and wife coordinated with seamless, flawless tacit understanding, driving Ouyang Feng into a frenzy of chaos and making his scalp tingle with anxiety.
Fuming with rage, Ouyang Feng roared wildly:
“You two!”
“Can't you follow the rules and fight me one by one?!”
Huang Rong's figure swayed like a shadow, her bamboo staff leaving behind a few trails of green light.
“No.”
Ouyang Feng stomped his feet violently, shouting curses:
“Two of you fighting one of me—bullying me with numbers!”
“You have no sense of martial ethics!”
Hearing these words come out of Ouyang Feng's mouth, Huang Rong could not help but laugh and say:
“Back when you kept picking on the two of us.”
“How come you never complained that there were too many of us?”
Dodging as he went, Ouyang Feng knit his brows:
“W-When did I ever pick on you?!”
Huang Rong's lips twitched, completely rendered speechless.
Dragging up old scores with an amnesiac madman was entirely like casting pearls before swine.
After being tangled up by Guo Jing and his wife for dozens of moves,
he thought to himself:
“This man is already troublesome enough.”
“Adding this woman makes it even worse.”
“And to make matters worse, between the two of them,”
“one takes me head-on while the other circles around.”
“One keeps me pinned down while the other takes every chance to strike at my openings.”
“They aren't giving me any room to attack comfortably.”
Attacked from both front and rear, Ouyang Feng took two blows from Huang Rong's staff and forced himself to withstand another palm strike from Guo Jing.
He cursed inwardly:
“This whole family has no martial ethics; they love to gang up on people.”
Instinctively sensing danger, he knew he had to retreat.
Ouyang Feng abruptly surged his dantian true qi. Taking two of Guo Jing's strikes head-on with both palms, he borrowed the momentum to leap straight into the sky, soaring thirty feet into the air!
Midair, Ouyang Feng charged his palms with the full baleful qi of Toad Stance. Inverted head-first, he crashed violently down toward the ground!
Guo Jing's face shifted dramatically as he instantly sensed the danger:
“Rong'er, fall back quickly!”
Huang Rong reacted with lightning speed, pushing off the ground with her staff to spring backward.
Ouyang Feng slammed both palms down with terrible force!
Rumble—!!
A ferocious palm energy slammed firmly into the ground.
The entire main road collapsed with a roar, as though an earth dragon were turning over!
Yellow soil, shattered stone, and broken timber across dozens of feet were violently uprooted by the tempestuous air currents.
They transformed into a murky wall of earth that blotted out the sky, howling as it smashed wildly in every direction!
In an instant, Guo Jing leaped back in front of the children.
Ke Zhen'e raised his iron staff to block as well.
Planting his stance, Guo Jing pushed out with both palms simultaneously.
A surging wave of palm force spread horizontally across the air.
It forcibly held the flying sand and rocks charging toward them a full three feet away.
Hiding behind Ke Zhen'e, Guo Fu only felt her clothes pressed tightly against her body by the fierce wind.
Da Wu and Xiao Wu hugged each other even tighter, not even daring to open their eyes.
When the dust finally settled, everyone looked out.
Where was there any sign of Ouyang Feng among the pile of rubble?
