Of course, there were a few preparations to be made before setting out.
For example, Mo Shao first had to incorporate the Flame Plate.
On Aris’s end, she also needed something to boost her strength—her railgun was currently in a dormant state.
Although it was unclear whether Aris needed power to fire her cannon in the game, in reality, she definitely did now.
Furthermore, her weapon, the Sword of Light: Supernova, was a naval-grade railgun that consumed a massive amount of energy.
Normally, such a thing would probably be out of commission for a long time, as portable energy sources were incredibly difficult to find, but it wasn't a problem now.
Giving her a Redstone block solved it immediately!
It was enough to support Aris's normal attacks. As for her ultimate moves, she could still use them, just not infinitely.
After all, the power output of a Redstone block wasn't that high.
Just like in the game where one had to wait for skill points, in reality, it translated to Aris needing to charge up her power.
“Woah! A Redstone block!” Aris thanked her with great surprise, solemnly accepting the Redstone block. “Thank you, Sister Mo!”
It was clear that she was much less constrained now. Likely, she felt that Mo Shao was indeed easy to get along with, just as Little Ka had said.
Mhm... Honestly, Aris was quite a good fit for the Sacred Sound Component, considering she was a bionic robot.
However, Mo Shao wasn't about to give it away the moment someone joined the team; she still needed to observe and evaluate the situation for a while.

“Little Ka, take Aris to the Wilderness and look around,” Mo Shao made the next arrangement. “I’m going to organize the spoils from the volcano trip.”
“Mhm, call us when you're ready,” Little Ka nodded, leading the increasingly cheerful Aris toward the Wilderness.
Mo Shao watched them walk away, a natural smile touching her face. It really was better with more people; being alone was just too boring.
Next, it was time for her to incorporate the Flame Plate. This process was actually quite simple for her.
After all, Mo Shao was a veteran and was currently in an absolutely safe environment, allowing her to focus entirely on her advancement.
In less than ten minutes, she had completed the incorporation of the Flame Plate. Now, she possessed another element: Fire!
The Lightning and Fire elements, which provided the most explosive damage in the early stages, were both in her hands. Her future development could now be even more aggressive.
For instance, she could consider diving straight into the Underground Desert!
Furthermore, the energy within her body had reached a certain threshold. She was close to being able to upgrade her energy and condense an Energy Core.
When that time came, she could enter the next stage of development and even increase her slots... but that would still take some time.

When Mo Shao reached the Wilderness to find Little Ka and the others, she discovered that Aris had already started building a house.
Naturally, she was using Minecraft blocks.
And Aris’s construction looked quite impressive. This was great news—someone was proactively helping with the building!
There were still no proper houses in the Wilderness, making it uncomfortable to stay there at times. As for why she hadn't built any?
Mo Shao wasn't exactly a builder. If she were forced to do it, it would probably result in a bunch of matchbox houses or coffin rooms.
As for Little Ka?
She was two of a kind with Mo Shao. You could count on her for food, but as for building houses, forget it.
“Ah, Sister Hui, you're finished!” Little Ka noticed Mo Shao immediately. “No trouble, right?”
“None, everything went smoothly.” Mo Shao nodded and snapped her fingers, causing a crimson flame to bloom at her fingertip.
“Woah, you can breathe fire now.” Little Ka’s eyes lit up, and she instinctively leaned in to touch it, only to be patted back by Mo Shao.
“Aris reporting for duty!” Aris also skipped over.
“Mhm. Let’s go, then. We’re heading for the desert.”
***
Unlike Stark Mountain, which was right next door to the north, the desert was a bit far from their location, so Mo Shao chose to drive.
If she could save a bit of mana, she might as well. According to the intel Little Ka shared, there were quite a lot of people in the desert.
After all, the Terraria desert Phantom Realm was distinct from the Minecraft version, and it was well worth exploring.
Especially with a Minecraft Crafting Table, one could use a binding operation to temporarily connect it with the rules of Terraria.
This allowed one to escape the predicament of lacking a crafting interface. Therefore, the number of people heading to the desert today had significantly increased.
This was information Little Ka had gathered while wandering the city today, with some details provided by Aris.
During the drive, Mo Shao also asked them for a detailed breakdown of the current situation in Seven Hills City.
Last night’s chaos had truly put the people in the city through the wringer.
With all sorts of soul displacements and life-and-death struggles, everyone was left dazed and confused, barely knowing which way was up.
You couldn't tell if the teammates around you would still be your teammates the next moment, and you couldn't be sure if someone was targeting you.
Fortunately, toward the end, the city guards returned with many Jack-o'-lanterns, which helped restore order significantly.

Of course, a few spirits did manage to complete their resurrection, and typically, those bodies belonged to lone wolves.
Without any acquaintances around, it was difficult for others to tell the difference between the current person and the previous one; most would simply assume they hadn't changed.
As for the living souls who had been pushed out... those spirits had ways to deal with them too.
One was to flee to a remote area and wait for the night to end; the other was to simply destroy the displaced living soul.
There were quite a few abilities capable of attacking souls. Doing this left no proof behind, making it so they didn't even need to run away.
As for Aris’s situation... it was likely due to her special status as a bionic robot soul, combined with the protection of the halo above her head.
Consequently, no one could possess her. At the very least, the spirits from last night were helpless. After all, how could a human soul possess a machine?
The spirits last night might have temporarily attached to Gladiator Statues, but that was only temporary and couldn't last for long.
Because everyone’s current strength was mediocre and their soul density was low, they could only find bodies of the same species.
Even when looking for human bodies, they had to find ones with similar gender and age; otherwise, rejection issues would likely occur.
There was no helping it; those who were weak couldn't even manage possession properly.
