Despite the chaos, the powerful individuals were managing fine, so the overall situation remained relatively stable.
Mo Shao was driving a classic Jeep. It had excellent off-road capabilities and high durability, allowing it to handle all sorts of complex terrain.
However, there was one slight problem…
Thud!
Accompanied by a dull impact, Mo Shao drove the Jeep head-first into the side of a massive boulder, nearly flipping the vehicle.
“Sister Mo, do you even know how to drive?!” Little Ka was starting to lose it—mostly because they had hit something multiple times along the way.
Earlier it wasn't so bad; they had hit some cacti, but they just ran right over those. Now she was starting to hit rocks!
“I know how…” Mo Shao scratched her cheek awkwardly, her eyes shifting slightly away. “It’s just been a long time since I last drove.”
While she did have a driver's license, she had only really driven back when she was testing for it. Afterward, the license had become a mere decoration.
Adding in her years from her previous life… she hadn't driven a car in decades. She had long since forgotten the specifics of how to do it.
Still, she figured driving shouldn't be that hard. Back when she was a car herself, it hadn't been this difficult, right?

“It’s fine, just let me adjust for a bit,” Mo Shao insisted stubbornly—and in the end, she actually did manage to adapt.
After all, the desert terrain was vast, and with very few obstacles, she could naturally drive as boldly as she wanted.
Considering that everyone might encounter a situation where they’d need to drive in the future, Mo Shao let Little Ka and Aris take a turn at the wheel once she regained her familiarity with the controls.
This was also why Mo Shao hadn't chosen the “Simplified Driving” from Peacekeeper Elite—the mode where you could drive just by pressing keys.
But… compared to Mo Shao, who at least had some prior training, Little Ka and Aris driving was a pure disaster movie.
They swerved and tilted so much that an outsider would have thought they were playing bumper cars.
Fortunately, this was the wide-open desert with very few other vehicles, and Mo Shao could use physical force to brake the car if needed. Otherwise, there definitely would have been accidents.
Well… in a sense, they did have accidents. On the way there, they had no idea how many monsters they had accidentally mowed down.

“There really are a lot of people,” Mo Shao remarked, unable to help herself as she watched the figures and vehicles shimmering in the distance outside the window.
The desert was much more crowded than usual.
People were either on-site digging for materials or wandering around looking for Pyramids. As of right now, no one seemed to have found one yet.
Usually, there was only one Pyramid per stretch of sand dunes, and in reality, the desert had become enormous, making the search quite a hassle.
However, Mo Shao had her own way of finding things.
She closed her eyes, and the power of the earth began to spread out beneath her feet. Using the car as a medium, she conducted the energy deep into the ground…
After traveling for roughly half an hour, Mo Shao opened her eyes and pointed in a direction. “Found it. Drive south.”
“That fast?!” Little Ka blinked, looking surprised.
“You underestimate me,” Mo Shao chuckled.
However, the journey wasn't entirely without incident.
“It’s Zhang Jiaying’s group.” As they drove, Little Ka suddenly spoke up with a hint of vigilance, her gaze fixed toward the front-left.
A group of people was traveling through the desert, looking weathered by the sand and wind. This was the same faction that had tried to take advantage of Aris before.
“Should we hide?” A hint of worry appeared on Aris’s face.
“No need to hide. We’ll have to show ourselves sooner or later anyway,” Mo Shao shook her head, offering words of comfort. “Besides, they can't beat us.”
Of course, while she didn't plan on hiding, she didn't intend to go out of her way to pick a fight either—unless they provoked her first.
After all, it wouldn't make sense to just go up and say, “Aris is on our team now, got a problem?”… That would be beneath her.
At the very least, she had to wait for the other side to open their mouths to taunt or threaten her first before she could properly show off and shut them down, right?
Ultimately, they didn't run into each other. The two groups were clearly heading in different directions, and their paths didn't even cross.
This was for the best. Their main goal this time was the Pyramid; it was better not to let other matters complicate things.

“By the way, should we dig up some of this sand?” Once Zhang Jiaying’s group vanished from sight, Little Ka’s mind began to wander again.
Earlier, they were busy practicing driving, and then Mo Shao was focused on her closed-eye scouting, so she hadn't found a good time to bring it up.
“No need,” Mo Shao shook her head and explained. “We already have the Minecraft system for our basic construction needs. We just need to grab the useful stuff from Terraria.”
“What about the cacti?” Little Ka looked toward the green plants.
“Grab some of those. They can be used for alchemy.” Mo Shao glanced at the cacti by the roadside and immediately identified their uses with Identification.
That said, she shook her head somewhat helplessly. “But I really don't know much about Terraria items…”
She hadn't played the game in depth, after all. Most of her information came from various Skyscreen retrospective events.
While she could learn an item's function through Identification, it was quite difficult for her to proactively seek out useful things.
Wait… Aris should have played Terraria, right?
Thinking of this, Mo Shao turned her head to look at Aris, who was sitting obediently but looking around with curiosity, and asked her a question.
“Aris, have you played Terraria?”
“Mhm!” Aris nodded repeatedly.
“Great. Then could you tell us what good things we should be looking for?” Mo Shao nodded in satisfaction and motioned for her to continue.
“Hmm…” Biting her thumb, Aris thought for a moment before beginning to count things off on her fingers. “Waterleaf, Daybloom, the Underground Desert, and Blinkroot—those herbs can all be used to brew potions. Also mushrooms, various minerals…”
Basically, if it could be used, they should take some.

Following Aris’s advice, they gathered a wave of items along the way. Half an hour later, Mo Shao and the others successfully reached their target location.
“It seems no one has beaten us to it.” Mo Shao nodded in satisfaction. Not only had no one beaten them to it, there wasn't a single soul around!
This was normal, though. Not every vehicle could handle being driven in the desert, and finding this kind of car in the city's Real Realm was a massive headache.
Especially when that city was crawling with Honkai Beasts and Deadwalkers, searching for cars was even more difficult.
Even if someone did have a car, they would have likely driven it here while fleeing. Very few would have made it through in one piece.
But even for the cars that did survive, people still had to worry about fuel and electricity. The problems were endless.
It wasn't like Mo Shao’s side, where she had pulled a vehicle directly from the island map of Peacekeeper Elite. It was in perfect condition and had a full tank of gas!
So even though they were late arrivals to Seven Hills City, their progress was far ahead of everyone else’s.
Having a vehicle really was better than running on two legs!
Now then, enough talk—it was time to start digging up the Pyramid!
