Under the nourishment of the Demon Realm's mana, and with countless magical beasts lining up to deliver EXP, the vassals ushered in a massive level up.
Morona broke through to the 【Legendary Rank】!
Yinzhi broke through to the 【Legendary Rank】!
Milnia, Ninike, the Black Qilin, the Phoenix, Helena, Camilla... all broke through to the 【Legendary Rank】!
Astraea was already Legendary Rank, and she not only helped protect the girls but also contributed immensely.
It had to be said, this place was truly an excellent leveling holy land!
Qimeng took her all-Legendary Rank vassal girl group and fought all the way to the center of the Demon Realm.
The sovereign of the Demon Realm, the Demigod Rank 【Demon God】 descended, mournful music echoing throughout the Demon Realm.
“Presumptuous! I am the Demon God! The rules of the world were set by the three Creator Moon Goddesses; humans and demons must slaughter each other! If you want to be the Demon King, you must follow the divine rules and subjugate the humans!”
Qimeng spat.
“To hell with your stinky god. What are you acting so big for?”
“Arrogant! If you do not believe in the Creator God, who do you wish to believe in?!”
“If I must believe in a god... it can only be the 【God of Wealth】!”
The Demon God was dumbfounded.
“The... God of Wealth? I have never heard of him!”
“It is only normal that you haven't! Now, die!”
Qimeng gathered all of her Legendary Rank power.
【God-Devouring Strike】
This was the Authority Qimeng had awakened upon breaking through to the Legendary Rank.
All things could be devoured, and gods were no exception.
She condensed the God-Devouring power into a single strike, turning it into a beam of black light that blasted toward the Demon God!
“I am a Demigod! You cannot kill—”
Boom!
The Demon God, along with his divine body, was instantly turned into nutrients for the tree demon!
At this moment, overwhelming holy light descended from the sky. The grand voice of the Creator God shook the very soul.
“A mere low-level plant could actually annihilate the Demon God. Your existence has exceeded the rules of the mortal realm.”
“You have two choices! Become a Demigod, be the newborn Demon God, act as the necessary evil for these living beings, maintaining the ecological balance of the human and demon races in the mutually eroding chaos. Or become the Tree God who protects order, turning into the existence itself that supports the rules of all things, giving meaning to living beings.”
Qimeng waved her hand as if shooing a fly.
“Stop trying to fool me with some Demigod stuff. I choose neither.”
“This lady chooses to become an 【Indescribable Existence】!”
“Sorry, I won't keep you company. Goodbye.”
With a swift hand chop, she directly shattered the descending holy light!
The Creator God's light scattered!
The sky returned to clear, and the border barrier was completely repaired.
Qimeng brought her vassal girl group back to the Flourishing Forest.
The Great Black Magic Forest was vast, and the continent of this world was also grand. It was said that beyond the continent, there was an endless, vast ocean.
But...
why think about so many distant things?
“Anyway, let's live in the present first!”
Qimeng stretched out her branches across the sky.
The giant tree bloomed with divine light, her massive canopy directly tearing through the sea of clouds, enveloping the entire territory with her Authority of Life, like a miracle hanging high in the sky.
Everyone's daily life continued.
Baikui and Morona governed hundreds of millions of demons and vassals.
Though Qimeng herself was dumbfounded, not knowing how things had evolved this way, without a doubt, she had become a true 【Demon King】!
Baikui was really proactive. Noticing that Qimeng preferred female vassals, this loyal parasitic beast threw away the smelly skin of the Thirteenth Demon Prince Kalu without a second thought.
She instead parasitized the body of the First Succubus of the Demon King City. Now, although she looked incredibly beautiful, she always had a flirtatious and seductive vibe.
Now, one governed the Demon Realm's internal affairs, and the other commanded the Demon King City's troops, bickering every day over who was more favored.
Morona called her a seductive fox, while Baikui shot back calling her a poisonous mushroom. Their encounters were always chaotic, neither willing to yield.
Gaia and Elise became the lords of the Demon King City and managed the vassal demi-humans.
One was a silly, strong demon, the other a gentle noble big sister. They tied the knot and lived a stable, happy life.
Yinzhi and Eve governed the Wood Elves and the forest vassal clans.
The Incubation Pool was placed under the New Tree Court, guarded by the resurrected former Chief.
Now there really was pool water, glowing with a gentle green light, as a new generation of Wood Elves was being nurtured.
Yinzhi led the Wood Elves to turn the New Tree Court into a paradise on earth, wielding her wind-attribute divine weapon, specializing in managing Qimeng's long hair.
Eve led the song and dance troupe to practice new dances, bringing a unique loli scenery to the territory and her beloved Spirit Lord.
Milnia, the Treasure Tanuki girls, the Rock Land Wyrm Clan, and other vassal races.
Xiaomi became the true First Lieutenant, establishing a magic stone, mutated stone, and material logistics network across the continent, becoming a famous mining tycoon. The Bee Empress's name shook the continent.
However, as soon as she returned to the territory, Qimeng would tease her by calling her a silly Little Orange, and she could only stomp her feet with a red face and bear it obediently.
Feifeier mutated and awakened lightning power, becoming the Mother of Thunder!
Ninike led the White Feather Clan to soar through the sky, firmly holding the position of aerial defense captain.
Dameng managed the flowers and plants of the expanded Firefly Forest, while Xiaomeng transported ingredients to the Moon Rabbit Clan's kitchen.
These two reliable little ones were short, always followed by a trail of Wood Elf toddlers.
The Stone Giants, Snake Girl Clan, Red Hammer Clan, Resounding Horn Deer, and Wood Spirit Foxes guarded the outer perimeter of the territory, living a leisurely life.
The Black Thorn Legion took root at the outskirts, patrolling alternately with the Stone Giants, protecting the Tree Court tightly.
The Corpse Princess trio—Sword Princess Helena, Enchantress Camilla, and Hades Princess Astraea—were ageless and immortal, always accompanying Qimeng, who had become a long-lived race.
The Black Qilin and the Phoenix willingly became the guardian beasts of the Tree Court.
Sunlight filtered through the branches, spilling onto the Tree Court throne.
Qimeng wore a rabbit pajama dress made by the Moon Rabbit Clan, nesting in a soft cushion and drinking iced fruit tea.
On the Necro Notebook in front of her, a line of warm small words emerged.
【All recorded souls rest beneath the new soil】
Qimeng got up for a stroll, walking past the flower-filled gardens of the Moon Rabbit Clan, the natural wooden cabins of the Wood Elves, the tall camps of the Stone Giants, and Xiaomi's buzzing Hive Fortress.
And with every step, flowers bloomed.
Ninike descended from the sky, reporting with a silly smile.
“Good morning, Master! I patrolled well today too!”
Under the tree shade, Eve was leading the lolis of the song and dance troupe to practice a new dance, sweating profusely.
“Spirit Lord! Today's practice theme is magical girls!”
“Not bad, not bad. Tonight's reward is this—a Skill Orb!”
Qimeng casually revealed the reward.
“Yay!!”
The lolis cheered.
At this time, a group of Wood Elf toddlers swarmed up, giggling and grabbing the two long rabbit ears of Qimeng's rabbit pajama dress.
She smiled and tossed them a bag of Slime Gummy Berries, eliciting screams of joy from the little ones.
In the evening, the sun set.
Qimeng returned to her throne, overlooking the brightly lit new territory.
She sipped her fruit tea, revealing a satisfied smile.
“I don't want to be a hero, nor do I want to be a savior, and I'm even less bothered to be some high-and-mighty Demigod.”
“I... just want to find a comfortable place to sunbathe, drink tea, and watch these little fools bicker and live their lives.”
“This is already very good.”
Amidst the warm lights, the vassals laughed and cheered.
In the night sky, the silver moon shone, and starlight sprinkled all over the forest.
Beside the throne, the steam from the fruit tea curled upward.
【The End】
