Just as the gray mist was about to pour into the Landia Continent, three figures descended from the sky.
Ning Busan formed hand seals, and the crown atop his head emitted a blinding silver light, forming a colossal net that covered the sky to block the gray mist.
Behind Divinity, countless glowing spears pierced through the gray mist, strangling all the xenos trying to break out.
Rationality wove complex chains of law, wrapping them around the formless gray mist and trapping it in place.
“In the name of eternal order, chaos is forbidden here.”
Their voices echoed like tens of thousands of giant bells tolling simultaneously.
The gray mist receded, and the warped space was forcibly smoothed out.
The Will of Chaos sneered, “How laughable! Even the Silver-Crowned God of old couldn't do anything to me. What can you fragmented wills possibly accomplish?”
Rationality said calmly, “We are more complete than you think.”
One plus one plus one is greater than one, get it?
The gray mist suddenly cracked open with countless fissures, and even more xenos swarmed out.
Ning Busan quickly shifted his hand gestures, creating a tornado vortex that swept in and crushed the leading xeno creatures.
Tens of thousands of tentacles shot out from the gray mist, each carrying a corrosive power.
Divinity's eyes narrowed as the spears behind him coalesced into a radiant lance.
He swung his spear to parry the tentacles, but some still pierced his shoulder. Divinity broke free from the tentacles on his shoulder, and the wound was immediately seared shut by holy fire.
The spear sliced through the sky, stabbing directly into the center of Chaos's face.
The gray mist churned violently, letting out painful howls.
The Will of Chaos let out a deafening roar, “You are pure divinity! You are of my kind! We should join forces to deal with them!”
Striking a noble and aloof pose, Divinity coldly spat out three words: “You aren't worthy—”
Chaos's face contorted.
But immediately after, Chaos's face split into three parts, lunging at the three of them respectively.
Rationality analyzed calmly, “He wants to divide us. Don't let him succeed.”
Ning Busan raised his hand to construct a wall of light, sealing the Will of Chaos outside.
The Will of Chaos slammed against the wall of light, emitting a piercing shriek.
Rationality stared intently at the Will of Chaos, his eyes flashing frantically. “Chaos core fluctuation detected. Weak point located!”
He shared a stream of information with Ning Busan and Divinity.
Deep within the gray mist, there was a black dot that constantly shifted positions. That was precisely the core of the Will of Chaos, and where his weakness lay.
Divinity curled his lips. “I'll keep him distracted. Get ready.”
The Will of Chaos was not without weaknesses.
Once Rationality analyzed the location of the Will of Chaos's weakness, Divinity would confront the Will of Chaos head-on to draw his attention, and then Ning Busan and Rationality would work together to banish him.
This was exactly their original plan.
Divinity soared into the air, the afterimages of the Spear of Order turning into a silver-white trail.
He charged straight into the gray mist, clashing fiercely with the three faces of the Will of Chaos, erupting in flashes of light bright enough to illuminate the entire continent.
As the light dissipated, Divinity retreated dozens of steps. His body had been pierced with several holes by the gray mist's tentacles, and golden divine blood sprayed out.
“It's useless!” the voice of the Will of Chaos echoed from all directions. “You are merely inferior versions of the Silver-Crowned God. It's impossible for you to be stronger than he was!”
Rationality suddenly clapped his hands together. “Logic Cage!”
Countless silver lines of light emerged from the void, weaving into a complex three-dimensional cage that trapped the Will of Chaos within.
The Will of Chaos's body twisted and deformed, yet he could not find a single logical loophole to break through.
Seizing the opportunity, Divinity turned his spear into a stream of light and stabbed it into the core of Chaos.
Silver-white light erupted from within the gray mist, and Chaos's form began to collapse.
Divinity's roar shook the void: “Now!”
Rationality pressed two fingers to his brow, drawing out a glowing thread of law and shooting it toward the Will of Chaos.
After completing this action, his face instantly turned deathly pale.
This thread of law wove into an incredibly complex three-dimensional network, pinning every part of Chaos to specific coordinates so that he could no longer shift his form.
Chaos finally realized the danger. He struggled frantically, countless tentacles reaching out from the gray mist as if trying to grab onto something.
But it was too late. Rationality's network of laws locked him firmly in place.
Ning Busan quickly approached the core of the Will of Chaos. A burst of pure silver light suddenly erupted from his palm, forming an expanding channel.
It was no ordinary spatial rift, but a path leading to absolute nothingness—a blank space that even Chaos could not corrode.
Ning Busan wanted to banish Chaos to the end of nothingness, where the Will of Chaos would never find the coordinates to return.
The Will of Chaos began to fight back. Rationality frowned. “Ning Busan, hurry up and connect the path to nothingness! I can't hold on much longer!”
Ning Busan wanted to cry but had no tears. “Brother, easy for you to say! My divine power isn't enough at all!”
Rationality placed a hand on Ning Busan's shoulder. “I'll give you my power.”
Divinity also reached out, channeling all of his power into Ning Busan.
The moment the powers of the three made contact, an unprecedented light erupted.
It was the ultimate silver-white, like the very first light at the birth of the universe.
“In the name of the silver crown, we banish you!”
For the first time, their three voices were completely synchronized.
The silver channel was about to take shape.
However, the gray mist began to disintegrate, and the xeno creatures exploded one after another into viscous slurry.
The Will of Chaos shrieked in pain, his massive body contracting and expanding violently.
Divinity said, “That lunatic wants to take us down with him!”
Rationality's expression grew solemn. “Our power is still not enough...”
Just then, a milky-white light suddenly erupted from Ning Busan's chest.
Ning Busan smiled and said, “I almost forgot about this!”
Divinity narrowed his eyes. “Is this... the power of faith?”
Ning Busan nodded. “That's right. It is the power of faith.”
Over tens of thousands of years, the God of Light, as the sole True God of the Landia Continent, had gathered so much of the power of faith from all living beings, only to hand it all over to him in the end.
Using it here could be considered putting it to its absolute best use.
Rationality asked, “Is this power of faith enough?”
Ning Busan shook his head.
Not enough, but...
Ning Busan dropped to one knee, pressing his palm against the non-existent ground in the void. “All living beings of the Landia Continent, hear my command! I need your power of faith!”
On the Landia Continent, all living beings were looking up at the void.
The gray mist loomed there, obscuring the sun and moon, with only three silver-white figures standing before them.
They knew that those were gods fighting on their behalf.
When Ning Busan's voice spread across the entire world, almost the instant his words fell, all living beings made the gesture of prayer at the same time.
Countless tiny specks of light converged from all directions, merging into that milky-white glow.
Divinity's pupils trembled slightly.
In the face of Chaos, these living beings were like lambs to the slaughter, only able to cling to life under their protection.
So weak, so fragile.
In his eyes, perfect living beings should be existences as powerful as the God of Light.
Yet at this very moment, he actually felt that these weak creatures seemed to have a purpose for their existence.
Ning Busan channeled the milky-white light into the channel, saying with a smile, “Isn't this more than enough?”
The silver channel connecting to nothingness finally stabilized completely.
The gray mist churned in resistance, but it could not stop the process of banishment.
The Will of Chaos let out one final, unwilling roar as he was dragged inch by inch into the silver channel.
When the last wisp of gray mist vanished into the channel, the three of them let out a sigh of relief simultaneously.
The silver channel began to slowly close, but before it vanished completely, the voice of the Will of Chaos faintly echoed:
“This is not the end—”
The channel closed.
